Professor and Classmates,
Here is how I would rate my individual categories of wellness.
Physical Well-Being- 6. Being physically fit is something that I feel I could always improve upon and at this point in time, I have just recovered from shoulder surgery where I was on medical leave for a month. I have a lot of work to do to get back into the shape I was in before surgery. I have a plan to do this, I just have to focus and get it done.
Spiritual Well-Being- 7. I know that I have some room to improve in this category as well. By taking this class, I have been exposed to some sources and some strategies in order to improve and I plan on using them immediately.
Psychological Well-Being- 7. There are things as Soldiers in the military that we become exposed to and often times these are things we take with us and often need help to sort them out. That is about as specific as I am going to get with this topic. Just know that I am doing okay and plan on doing better with assistance.
Goals for each category
Physical- My goal is to be at the same level of fitness in 4 months as I was 4 months before I had my shoulder surgery.
Spiritual- My goal is to dedicate some personal time for myself everyday and to start attending church.
Psychological- My goals is to have peace inside myself and look forward to each new day and to live each day in the present and let the past go.
Activities for each goal
Physical- Increasing cardio and muscular fitness into my daily life, eat better and ensure I am getting enough sleep every night
Spiritual- Better time management to have that quiet time with myself every night, finding a church and becoming more involved with the church group.
Psychological- I can take the recommendations from the people who are assisting and do some research on my own for education and understanding

Relaxation exercise
Class,
I wanted to share my experiences with the Journey on Relaxation exercise. I felt very relaxed the more I listened to the recording. After the recording was over, I felt more calm and I was able to perform better at my job and be more relaxed at home. I have now incorporated this into my daily routing and it working well.
